Julie, God Bless you young lady*** this argument has even been used by some pastors to make themselves feel comfortable in not speaking to an issue that is sending children to hell. We do indeed need salt and light, but even many Shepherds do not do that, and most adults do not give salt and light, which includes many teachers, yet we think for some reason that it should now be the job of young children that are being indoctrinated in a system that does not tolerate Christ. You are correct that many children in the public schools are lost, and it has been designed that way. It is atheistic and pagan, and every child will come out of it with some leaven introduced in their lives, some never to return to faith. If you love your child, you would never send them to this type of system to educate someone you love. If you really want to affect the world, then pull your children and educate him at home with a Christian based education, they will get the best education, and they will have the greatest opportunity to be true salt and light to those around them.

You are right to pray and work to teach your children at home to be God's warriors, but it is wrong to send the young into this system where they will be bound by the strong man that seeks to kill, steal, and destroy, and the dupes of Satan will water down the message you give your children. Jesus is indeed coming, so parents need to repent and take their children away from those that are influencing them against HIM, and get ready, even as we hear the words of Jesus, "Occupy until I return." That is His plan, and we are all to Go and preach the Gospel in season and out of season. If you put your child in a public school, they are more likely to be killed, bullied, have sex at a younger age and out of wedlock, more likely to be selfish, more likely to come down with an STD or pregnant, more likely to believe in perversions being OK, more likely to be taught things you do not believe, more likely to have an abortion, more likely to believe in situational ethics and relative truth. and bottom line, more likely to be lied to, and God bless that remnant that would be able to withstand this onslaught by adults and other children against innocent children, that will lost that innocence sooner, and grow up to be like their teacher. If you knew all the things going on, I don't think you would offer your child up to this Sacred Cow. Love and prayers in Christ to your family*** Gregory I have two books that could help you on this*** call 417-754-8774

If we pull all the christians out, who will be the salt and the light for the truely lost children? Who will witness to them or invite them to church?
When they take the Lord's name in vain, who will tell them that's offensive?
When they curse and talk crude who will call them on it? I pray we work that much harder to teach our kids at home so they can go out and be God's warriors in that public school. This is all in God's plan and Jesus is
coming so we all better get ready!!

Pamela, I have a book in my study concerning the "Sunday Law" written by a Sabbatarian. There are many flaws in it, historically. One of main points is made that Constantine changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday, the first day of the week. The Holy ghost was poured out upon 120 believers on Sunday, the first day of the week. Since that time until, now Christian churches have observed Sunday as the Christian Sabbath, long before Constantine. Unfortunately, many churches have discarded the careful observance of the Sabbath. Christians eat out on Sunday, causing somebody to miss church in order to cook their food. Christians shop and do chores on Sunday. At one time Christian churches forbade those practices. Some still require faithful observance of the Christian Sabbath which falls on the first day of the week. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord's_day

In the Book of Romans chapter one, a description of the progress of apostacy in a society is enumerated. The final step is open acceptance of homosexuality. It is that step which brings the wrath of God on a society. America has now accepted that abomination. God's cup of wrath is about full. he is about to pour it out. Thank God for men like Gregory Thompson and Mark Kiser who are willing to publicly stand up against the sins in America.

I came across this site and have been searching for your committment to the Lord's Sabbath, which is the seventh day. I know that you realize the Sunday Law is coming, which is the final straw to God. What are your views on this?

I pray the Father will open your eyes to the Truth.

The fact is that Jesus died for our sins on the Cross and resurrected from the dead three days later. Easter (Ressurection Day) is the observed day of this factual happening of Jesus rising from the dead to redeem us. Anti-Easter Proponents claim that Easter is a syncretic blending of Christianity with non-Christian religions. It is true that other pagan cultures use a similar day for their worship. So what? The fact is that all religions have common elements: holy books, buildings or other places set aside for worship, liturgy, music, vocal prayers, meditation, art of some sort, preachers, and many many others. To label Easter "pagan" because someone else uses that name or day, is logically equivalent to saying that a preacher Jimmy Swaggart and Anton LeVay (Satanic priest) both us electronic amplification in their Church services, then Swaggart must be a Satanist. Let us keep our eyes on Christ and not allow Satan to distract us from His most important triumph for the faithful, the ressurection. Call it Ressurection Day, or with Grace allow others to call it Easter, as it is HIS ressurection that true Christians celebrate on that day*** if you would like a several page reply to some details, send me a personal email at gregory@asleepknowmore.com God Bless you***Gregory

Prove easter is resurrection Day. I have never read in scripture and cannot find in scripture that easter has anything to do with Christ's resurrection. What I find is that on the pagan holiday of easter that the Apostle Peter escaped from prison and certain death because of the king's observance of the pagan holiday, easter. It absolutely had nothing to do with Jesus and was a at least a year or more after Jesus had been resurrected.

Reuniting Fathers With Their Families
By Stuart A. Miller and Rich Zubaty
This appeared as an article in the Washington Times (12/19/95 - A19)
and is distributed by the Texas Fathers Alliance

85% of prisoners, 78% of high school dropouts, 82% of teenage girls
who become pregnant, the majority of drug and alcohol abusers - all
come from single-mother-headed households. Less than 1% of any of
these categories come from single-father-headed households. This
seems to indicate that the problems children encounter are not
related to single-parent households, but are related specifically to
single-mother-headed households. So, should we blame the mothers or
the fathers? Perhaps, neither. There is no question that father-
absence has reached epidemic proportions. According to Wade Horn of
the National Fatherhood Initiative, we must reverse the trend in 7 -
8 years or it will be too late to do so.

And, how has our government responded to this crisis? By continuing
to drive fathers out of the family. It is bad enough that some
fathers abandon their families, but it is unconscionable that our
federal and state policies drive fathers away from their families.
With 80+ percent of divorces involving children resulting in sole-
mother-custody, combined with a "no man in the house rule"
and "presumptive sole-mother-custody" in welfare cases - we are not
blameless from a policy perspective. We must change our policies,
practices and procedures to specifically include fathers in
families. If not, we can be certain that social spending will
continue to increase and we will be plagued with an ever burgeoning
population of maladjusted children who will fill our prisons and
wreak havoc on society.

Social research data reveal that our blind reliance only on the
nurturing value of mothers is inadequate and misplaced. According to
the National Center for Health Statistics, a child living with
his/her divorced mother, compared to a child living with both
parents, is "375% more likely to need professional treatment for
emotional or behavioral problems and is almost twice as likely to
repeat a grade of school, is more likely to suffer chronic asthma,
frequent headaches, and/or bedwetting, develop a stammer or speech
defect, suffer from anxiety or depression, and be diagnosed as
hyperactive."

However, these afflictions were surprisingly uncommon in the 15% of
single-parent households headed by men. A study of all state child
protective services agencies in the country - by the Children's
Rights Coalition, a child advocacy and research organization in
Austin, Texas - found that biological mothers physically abuse their
children at twice the rate of biological fathers. The majority of
the rest of the time, children are abused because of single-mothers'
poor choices in the subsequent men in their lives. Incidences of
abuse were almost non-existent in single-father-headed households.

The data shows that placing children only with mothers is likely to
be detrimental to children and society, so why do we continue public
policies favoring sole-mother-placement? Have we become so
paternalistic toward women that it anesthetizes our common sense?

Surprisingly few people realize that, until the end of WW I, U.S.
laws and courts automatically placed the children of divorce not
with their mothers, but with their fathers. For thousands of years
societal conventions instructed the placement of children with their
fathers in most cultures all over the globe. Why? Because it works.
It puts children with their strongest protectors and it puts boys
with their traditional guides to civilized manhood. Yet, these
essential fatherhood roles - protector and civilizer - seem to have
been forgotten, today.

Never before have fathers been cast aside as they have been in the
United States during the last 30 - 40 years. Never before has such a
strong society become as threatened as we are, for this solitary
reason. Regrettably, as long as we continue to hold to the
relatively new idea that only mothers are capable of being parents,
and ignore the essential role of fathers, our children will remain
at risk.

The single-mother-headed-household must go the way of the slum high-
rise dwelling. Both are human disaster zones. Both are exalted
attempts at social engineering that ignore God's blueprint for human
society.

What is needed? Our Father in heaven and our fathers here on earth -
as well as a society that values them, includes them, and encourages
their involvement in their families.

Pauline, Thank you and God Bless you, I do have the job of all that dream to serve the Lord. I pray that I will always be able to stand for Jesus, and with the strength of the Holy Spirit, I will. I pray also that all our children will be given an opportunity to know and accept Jesus, so that they may stand with Him for eternity*** love and prayers in Christ to your family*** Gregory

David, the people can sign up, just as it is, they can email and let me know their inclination. As far as Humanist Doctorate, my Doctorate is from a Christian College and is in Scriptural Psychology that allows me to be a Christian Counselor, which I do with a prayer that I say only those things that Jesus would say to His followers*** God Bless*** Gregory
